Get Bokeh Directly Via iPhone Camera

Hi again guys,

sorry for being late. I came back with thing that you want to do it in the easiest way and I'm sure that you will really like.

Bokeh is one of my favorite kind of picture. Today I will explain with picture how we can get a Bokeh picture with VSCOcam.  As we know there are many ways to get a great Bokeh picture via iPhone camera. I will mention them and then I will tell you the easiest way to get it directly via iPhone camera.

First way:

You might already have a picture that you want to make it Bokeh. Don't worry. You will get it with Tadda app. 

1. Open Tadaa app
2. Select the picture that you want to make it Bokeh
3. Select Blur; then all
4. Adjust the Bokeh strength

Second way:

You can get Bokeh picture via original iPhone camera by locking the exposure and focus on something that close to the lens. For example, place your finger close to the lens then tap and hold the screen for few seconds. See the pictures explanation below:

Third way:

In my opinion, this is the best way to get a Bokeh photo directly. To get Bokeh picture directly, you have to download VSCOcam app. I will let the pictures below to explain the steps clearly:

Studio

Although I like taking and editing pictures, I have tried to create a cool design on my pictures by writing quotes or phrases, but I really didn’t get the look that I am looking for. A few days ago, I discovered an app for designing. Even if you don’t have a great skill in designing, you will get an awesome result with this app.

Ok, let me explain the app. The app named is Studio. It is almost like the Instagram app. You have to create your own account to be able to use the app. You can follow people and like their work, but what is unique in this app is that you can mark the photo you like and it will be saved in your account.

The most great think in this app is the remix. What the remix feature does is that it lets you use other people’s designs or quotes. That is not all. Under the image that you use the remix feature in, you will see (inspired by “someone”). This is to save other people copyright. So when you press there, you will see who has used this design or quotes and you will reach the person who created it. Here are two examples of using the remix feature:

I didn’t like the line and the compass here because they didn’t work well with my image, so I deleted them

Here is also another creative example of someone else’s design and I used it here in my image

Yes, as you saw. You can also change or remove whatever you don’t like in that design. I have seen a lot of creativity in this app. Also, everything in this app is for free. Feel free to follow me on that app as Alnogaly. 3.  Street photography

According to Wikipedia, Street photography is photography that features the human condition within public places and does not necessitate the presence of a street or even the urban environment. The subject of the photograph might be absent of people and can be an object or environment where the image projects a decidedly human character in facsimile or aesthetic. So, there are a lot of different shots that you can take on the street. Make the people who are talking to each other, carrying  shopping bags, or even just places your aim. Below are some examples of Street photography:

EASY!!

I would call it Street life photography because it captures what is going on the street and its moments. I am really not a studio person. I really am enjoying taking picture of people, things, and places. This is one of my favorite shots. I can just capture the movement of people walking down the street or in a restaurant. Remember, don't forget to share your work on Instagram with #ChanceForTakingPhotos hashtag so I can give feedback.

Don't Worry About It!!

I have taken a billion of pictures that are not straight. This is because I was rushing or I was in a stately place. Sometimes because it is just difficult to take an even photo like the example below:

As you saw, the building in that picture was skewed. So I found an app that can fix this issue and make the picture looks great. SKEW app is created to just fix this issue. You know, I will not talk a lot. I will leave the picture below to talk:

That is it!! You will get an awesome result.

Also, there is another great app called SKRWT. SKRWT does the same thing, but in a different way.

They are both for $1.99 in the app store. If you want to have only one of them, I prefer the first one. In fact, I really have both of them because even though they make the things even, they give a different result, so if one of them didn’t give me the result that I am looking for, of course the other one will give me that. Believe me, they are both worth the money!!

TGIF!!

YEAH, it’s Friday guys, the time to go to New York and discover a new place. You know guys, when I decide to go to a new restaurant, I choose a restaurant that inspires me. Navy New York is one of the New York restaurants that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Navy New York is located in the Soho neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, New York City, so I had my lunch there.

I knew that restaurant by photographers’ pictire on Instagram. I have seen a couple of pictures of it for a long time. So, I went there with one of my friends. The owners of the restaurant are a brother and sister from England. They opened it around year ago.

I really liked the design and decoration. As a photographer, I couldn’t stop taking pictures. The owner actually told my friend that they aimed to attract the models and the photographers by the restaurant design and decoration.

I had a seat and I got the finest menu I have ever seen!! I know some of you may mock me now, but I liked the menu because it was a handwritten menu. Yes, it was. Actually, I didn’t take a picture of it, but I found it for you guys. To be in the safe side, we ordered Burgers.

Then we had a walk in Soho neighborhood. For my friend, it was just a walk, but for me it was a photowalk. Here are some of the picture that I took in Soho.

Then we got take-out dessert from Ladurée

I bought caramel, coffee, and vanilla macaroon, but I liked the coffee & the vanilla macaroon.

The last stop was Times Square and there was a traditional celebration that time and I got a chance to take some pictures

We didn’t spend that much time in Times Square because we went there to go to the bust stop to get back home.

We really enjoyed our time in NYC and we felt the tiredness when we got home. I am really gonna miss new york city when I finish my studying here.
